Update (posted June 28, 2011)
As of March 21, two adult peregrines were back at the Fargo nest site. They have since been identified as Dakota Ace and Miracle. Four eggs were laid, but only one hatched (probably due to very cold spring). The baby (a male named Lone Ranger) was banded on June 6. He left the nest on June 22 and has done well since.
Despite our best efforts, the web cameras continue to work only on occasion. The nest is now empty. We do plan to address the technical problems before next year.
